About The Punany Project: “Punany” is more than a show. It is a movement, created by Author/Activist Jessica Holter in 1995 after the NWA star Eazy E, that has ignited an international conversation about Self Love & Sexual Health. Punany is a sensual theatrical science that fosters a commitment to public health as no other public service campaign ever has. Our audience members are adult students in a college of sexual health improvement. Since the project began in 1995, The Punany Poets' signature style of "theater of the oppressed" has found favor among millions of television viewers, literary critics and scholars. But enough about us, you will know for yourself. We encourage you to sit back, relax, and enjoy the show!

Jessica Holter is now casting for Regional Punany Players & Understudies for lead artists

MUST BE’s

Must have talent. Must be cute. Must be smart. Must have a great attitude. Must be people-friendly. Must have a flexible schedule. Must listen and follow directions. Must be able to memorize. Must not be in any contracts, religious cults, or bad relationships that may interfere with your Punany Participation. Must not be habitually late, a habitual liar, or have a major drug or alcohol habit. Must be a team player. Race is not a factor. Age 21-32. Must have a passport. Must be willing and able to travel.

VIDEO AUDITIONS

Note: Our live show audition program will not be in effect for the remainder of 2007. You must apply to perform with The Punany Poets by sending a video. Follow the steps below.

Verbal Penetration is required reading for all Punany Players. To apply to audition to become a Punany Player, you must own Verbal Penetration. To understand the difference between Punany Poetry and common erotica, you must own Verbal Penetration.

To apply to become a Punany Player follow these simple steps:
Pick up a copy of Zane presents The Punany Poets Verbal Penetration book from your local bookstore.
Read the whole book. Not part, not some, not mostly, not only the freaky stuff; ALL
Memorize Verbal Penetration, Page 1
Video Tape yourself performing Verbal Penetration
